In the period of pandemic that we are all going through at the moment, in our Bed & Breakfast & Spa located in Saint-Malo “Les Iles Vagabondes", we do everything possible to ensure the safety of our travellers to allow them to spend a pleasant stay in Brittany.
On your arrival, a hydro-alcoholic solution is available at the reception.
As a reminder:
All our rooms are independent and include an individual bathroom and toilet.
The SPA Relaxation area is private on request.
Only the kitchen is shared. In this area, we ask you to enter, move around or leave with your mask on your face. Hydro-alcoholic solutions are available at the entrance doors. In addition, our breakfasts are served individually to avoid unnecessary contact, respecting barrier gestures and distancing measures.
We do our best to preserve your safety by reinforcing the cleaning and disinfection in all areas, especially of frequently touched surfaces such as switches, door handles, furniture handles, taps, remote controls…and this, before your arrival.
The laundry is done at high temperature with a disinfectant washing additive in addition to the detergent.
The spa and sauna are disinfected between each reservation.
What about the Health Pass?
According to the following sources: Public Sénat, Government and Government FAQ:
We currently have no certainty about the requirement of the Sanitary Pass in bed and breakfasts since no legal text clearly mentions it! Everything is subject to interpretation or supposition!
“The Sanitary Pass must be requested only in the restaurant and common areas"!
If we have a private service such as the SPA, we are not required to ask for the Sanitary Pass to access it!
Since August 9, 2021, we assume that in all guest rooms with breakfast included, and this, until a clarification of the governmental authorities (Decree N°2021-1059 of August 7, 2021: legifrance.gouv.fr), the valid Sanitary Pass would be required only once upon arrival in our structure.
Having ourselves a complete vaccination scheme and therefore a valid Health Pass and out of respect for the other users of the guest house “Les Iles Vagabondes" in Saint-Malo, the following measures will be applied:
A valid Health Pass (full vaccination scheme or a negative RC-PCR or antigenic test less than 24 hours old or a certificate of recovery from covid dating from more than 10 days and less than 6 months old) is to be presented only once on arrival.
Wearing a mask is strongly recommended on arrival at the centre and for access to the breakfast room, even if the health pass is valid, out of respect for other users.
We ask our guests, out of respect for the other people present in our bed and breakfast “Les Iles Vagabondes", to apply the necessary barrier gestures in this pandemic period.
Cancellation by the client or others, linked to the Covid-19 health crisis
In case of cancellation linked to a governmental decision (compulsory closure of the guest room, confinement, travel ban…), the deposit paid and if necessary the totality of your paid reservation will be reimbursed on your request or you will be offered a credit note for the amount of the deposit paid and if necessary the totality of your paid reservation, usable and valid within a period of eighteen months
If, at the end of this eighteen-month period of validity, the credit note is not used, it will no longer be valid and will therefore not be refunded.
If, during this eighteen month period of validity, the credit note is used but the price of the reservation is different depending on the season (Low, Medium, High or Exceptional), the price to be paid for this new reservation will take into account the credit note corresponding either to the deposit already paid or to the total amount of the reservation already paid. In this case, you may be asked to pay more or you may be refunded.
(Order n°2020-315 of 25 March 2020.)
For any other reason of cancellation related to Covid-19 such as Covid-19 positivity and its consequences (isolation or illness) or hospitalisation related to Covid-19, the provisions related to article 7 of our General Terms and Conditions of Sale “Cancellation conditions following a direct booking by telephone, mail or email" apply.
